Mr. Olivier Gardiol, member of the Group Executive Committee and Head of the Business Area Folding Carton, has expressed the wish to dedicate his time to other activities, such as consulting and Board Memberships. For this reason, he will leave the Group at the end of December 2008, after serving it in various important Management positions since 1986. Both the Board of Directors and the Management of the Group regret but respect Mr. Gardiol’s decision.
The Board of Directors has designated Mr. Hakan Pfeiffer as his successor. He will take his new responsibilities on October 1st, 2008.
 
Mr. Pfeiffer, born in 1967, is of Swedish nationality. He joined the Group in 1991, with a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne. Mr. Pfeiffer also completed a Master of Business Administration at INSEAD. He held various Management positions in the Group, including since 2002 the overall responsibility for the folder gluer activities in the Folding Carton and the Corrugated Board industries. In the course of his career, he also spent several years in Japan, serving the Group as Marketing Manager.
