Bobst Group is analyzing the life cycle of each of its products, from the raw materials involved in its construction to the elimination of the product at the end of the cycle. Each of the Group’s production sites is studied carefully and new measures are elaborated to improve efficiency at the environmental and Health and safety at work levels. Conscious of the challenges confronting the world, the employees of the Group are fully participating in the process of achieving operational excellence.Several projects have begun, aimed at reducing the ecological impact of transportation.In 2010, the Indian site at Pune will be certified according to the ISO 14001 standard and the Lyon sites in France will be certified according to the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards; the Group will conduct a detailed analysis of the other sites.
