Introducing SCHIAVI

Schiavi, Piacenza, Italy

Established in Piacenza in 1927, SCHIAVI Cesare’s mechanical workshop  directed its activities towards the flexible packaging sector in the 1950’s.  Production started with rotogravure printing presses. It  grew rapidly and diversified, later adding flexographic printing presses and coater-laminators to its production range.

In 1987 SCHIAVI became an associated company of Bobst Group. It became fully integrated in 2000.

SCHIAVI products offer its customers high added value solutions for printing and converting flexible materials:

• flexographic printing presses
• laminating lines

The R&D department works in close co-operation with the market to design machines that fulfil customers’ requirements for quality, reliability and profitability.

A Training and Testing Centre (TTC) complements the range of available services. The TTC is at the disposal of the customers to assist them to evaluate and determine the best solutions for their production requirements.
