Slitter Rewinders for Film

These requirements vary from small film makers who may wish to produce smaller outputs (up to 50,000 kg per year) - as samples or trial marketing volumes - to major film producers with established markets for 10,000 tons of film or more per year. ATLAS has developed a range of options, from special accessories - which can be used on standard secondary slitters - up to fully automated high output slitters, capable of outputs up to 10,000 tons per year. The range also includes centre-surface or centre winders, with a variety of alternative control systems.

In addition to slitting machines, ATLAS has installed complete automated finished roll handling lines to weigh, label and robotically pack finished rolls onto a variety of different pallets. Most of the world's cigarette packaging film is slit on ATLAS slitting rewinders.  It is an industry whose packaging film slitting requirements are well understood by Atlas and well served by our standard equipment.
