The ATLAS CW1500 centre winder is ideally suited for converting materials with sensitive coatings, or a high gloss finish. The shaft-less rewind stations unload the slit rolls radially to either the floor, or on to trolleys or conveyors.

The ATLAS CW1500 can be provided with fully automatic rewinding stations and automatic knife positioning. All movements are controlled through the main operator and computer console.

During the rewinding cycle, the individual hydraulic rewind stations track away from the pneumatically loaded contact roller.
